Careers
The roles and benefits below are proposed hiring copy for owner review, not a statement of current vacancies or existing employment benefits. Confirm openings, responsibilities, compensation, and benefits before publication or an employment offer. Employment inquiries may be sent to contact@harlingenslabrepair.com.
What We Look For
- Care about the work. We want people who take pride in doing slab foundation repair properly, not just quickly.
- Straight talk with customers. You will be in someone's home or business explaining what you found. Plain language beats jargon.
- Reliability. Showing up when you said you would matters more here than any single line on a resume.
- Respect for the property. Protecting the space, cleaning up, and leaving it better than you found it.
- Safety, every time. Following safe practice is part of the job, not an extra.
Experience in slab foundation repair or a related trade helps. If you have the attitude and not yet the trade experience, say so, because we do train.
Roles We Hire For
We are a small team, so openings come and go with the work. These are the roles we hire into.
Slab Foundation Repair Technician
Support slab foundation repair projects through site preparation, material handling, assigned installation tasks, and cleanup under the direction of the crew lead. This proposed role suits someone who follows instructions carefully, asks questions when a task is unclear, and treats a homeowner's property with respect.
Qualifications
- Relevant construction or hands-on trade experience, or willingness to enter a supervised training role.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and required safety procedures.
- Reliable communication about attendance, assigned tasks, and concerns in the work area.
- Ability to perform the position's essential tasks with appropriate training and any applicable reasonable accommodation.
Benefits
- Proposed role-specific training and mentoring, subject to employer confirmation.
- Proposed opportunities to develop slab foundation repair skills through supervised work.
- Compensation, schedule, and any additional benefits confirmed in a written offer.
Foundation Repair Crew Lead
Coordinate daily field tasks, review the approved scope with the crew, and communicate access or project questions before work proceeds. The role calls for someone who can keep instructions clear, notice when a condition needs further review, and maintain an orderly work area without treating speed as the only measure of a good day.
Qualifications
- Relevant foundation repair or residential construction experience.
- Experience directing field tasks and explaining work instructions clearly.
- Ability to read project documents and recognize when clarification is needed.
- A consistent approach to required safety procedures, documentation, and respectful homeowner communication.
Benefits
- Proposed leadership development and opportunities to mentor crew members.
- Proposed participation in job preparation and field-process improvements.
- Compensation, schedule, and any additional benefits confirmed in a written offer.
Scheduling and Customer Support Coordinator
Help homeowners begin the conversation, organize appointment information, and keep project documents and outstanding questions easy to find. This proposed role is a good fit for someone who listens carefully, writes clear notes, and knows the difference between explaining the next step and making an unsupported technical promise.
Qualifications
- Customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- Comfort organizing email, calendars, records, and follow-up tasks.
- Care with customer information and willingness to refer technical questions to the appropriate person.
Benefits
- Proposed training in appointment coordination and project-document organization.
- Proposed opportunities to improve customer communication and office procedures.
- Compensation, schedule, and any additional benefits confirmed in a written offer.
